Shopping can be tiring at times especially when you have been running around from one store to another. As a result of my exhaustion, I decided to give myself a gift of retreat. I was looking for something extraordinary and something relaxing away from the bustling city of London and after spending hours on internet searches, I came across with Sunborn Hotel and that's how I found out about Sunborn Yacht Hotel and decided to book for the weekend.

I was swarmed with excitement to spend my night at Sunborn Yacht Hotel. Took a train from Baker Street to Canning Town via Jubilee Line and from Canning Town (via DLR) to Royal Victoria Station. From Royal Victoria station, it takes about 5 minutes walk to go to the hotel. On my way to the hotel, I saw Emirates Air Line where you can cross to O2 via cable car and this is one of the attractions in the area. I walked towards the hotel and I already enjoying my view . The view of River Thames fascinates me as I walked along the river to go to Sunborn Hotel.

This luxury floating hotel is one of it's kind.Located at Royal Victoria Dock London , this charming hotel offers an extraordinary experience for those looking for a relaxing retreat and hideout. Floating along River Thames, this luxury 4th Star hotel has it's own unique charm and offers a breath-taking view especially from the deck.

I booked an executive Room with a balcony on a high floor. I requested for a room that is facing the river view unfortunately it was weekend, so most of the river view room was fully booked so had a dock view room. The spacious room is equipped with I-pad,TV, Wifi, Lavazza coffee machine, Molton Brown toiletries, safety box, fridge, bathrobe and some books on the shelf.

I enjoyed my weekend retreat at this yacht hotel. The ambience of the hotel is amazing. The staffs at the reception and at the restaurants were very hospitable and professional. I had an amazing weekend ;). Next time, I would like to stay at this hotel's Executive Suite that has a private Jacuzzi in it.
